This gateway to a natural wonderland is completely surrounded by the Moira State forest, with Milewa forest to the north and the Barmah Forest positioned just across the river. This majestic river red gum forest is home to an abundance of native animals and bird-life for you to experience.
Boating, bushwalking, birdwatching and water sports are some of the area’s main attractions. Fishing is also a popular activity amongst holiday makers, with the the magnificent Murray Cod being the ultimate prize.

We moved our family to Tarragon Lodge in 2023 to take over the family business. We embrace our role as the custodians of the land and endeavour to protect its peace, tranquility and natural beauty.
Everything we do is to ensure our children and yours can enjoy all that Tarragon has to offer for many years to come!
