What is an occupation agreement?

Our site occupation agreement is for a fixed term of 12 months, the agreement is made pursuant to the Holiday Parks (Long -term casual occupation) Act 2002 No. 88. Occupation is for up to 180 days per year.

For current site occupation fees please contact our office directly to ensure you are given the most current pricing

Your fresh potable drinking water supply is included in your annual site fees.

Power is metered individually at each cabin and charged quarterly on a usage basis.

Gas is bottled LPG, our current provider is ELGAS, Your gas is delivered by Tarragon Lodge and charged out from ELGAS, this is also on a usage basis.

All moveable dwellings are to comply with current building regulations, council requirements and park standards

No private rentals for financial gain are allowed in the park. Guests may use your cabin at your permission and may be subject to park fees. However you cannot charge your guests additional fees to stay.

All cabin owners  and their guests are subject to Tarragon Lodge general park rules.

  1. All visitors must report to the office upon arrival & register. This is for security reasons & is required by law.
    1. The owners sign in book is for owners and nominated guests only, all other guests must register at reception.
    2. Day Visitors in the park are free of charge but must sign in.
    3. Overnight Visitors (Not on the owners nomination list) will be charged at a rate of:
      1. Adults: $10.00 p/n
      2. Children: (aged 3-16) $5.00 p/n
  2. A speed limit of 10kms (walking pace) shall strictly apply.
  3. The riding of trail bikes is not permitted in the park.
  4. Only two cars per unit are permitted to park on roadside of the unit. Extra cars must park in front of tennis court near office. All vehicles enter park at own risk. The park is not responsible for any damage that may accrue to any vehicle while staying at the park.   
  5. Dogs are permitted within the park grounds. However dogs are to be on a leash at all times & are the owners’ responsibility. Dogs must not be left unattended for any long period of time & their mess must be cleaned up. Repeated offenders will be banned from the park.
    1. No more than 2 dogs are permitted at any one time per site.
  6. Site must be kept tidy at all times.
    1. A strip of 10 meters wide shall be maintained as common ground along the river where any persons are allowed to walk. This strip must not be obstructed in any way.
  7. Cars are not to be parked on the river side of sites.
  8. Boats, trailers & caravans are to be left in the boat storage area in paddock.
  9. Any wilful or repeated damage, acts of vandalism or repeated misbehaviour by patrons of the park may result in the forfeiture of the site fees paid & eviction from the park.
  10. No firearms will be permitted in the park.
  11. All rubbish must be put in plastic bags before putting in the rubbish bins.
    1. All visitors must dispose of their waste prior to leaving in the appropriately labelled bins at the park entrance.
    2. We here at Tarragon do our best to minimise waste by recycling and re-using when and were we can, we appreciate your assistance in this endeavour.
  12. Firewood stacks must be kept neat & tidy & on concrete slabs or closed wood bins. Excessive wood piles will not be tolerated, these pose a fire risk to neighbouring cabins. It is important to respect other people’s property & if anyone is caught stealing wood they will be asked to leave the park. 
    1. Fire wood can be purchased from the front reception during office hours.
  13. Fire coals are not to be put into rubbish bins or tipped over the bank of the river. Please dispose of coals by putting in the ash bin beside rubbish bin. Fire pits are to remain on their designated concrete slab.
  14. No excess noise after 10.30pm. Noise travels down the river so it is important to turn loud music & voices down. Remember you do have people beside you & it is important to respect them.
  15. Golf is $5.00 per game per person. We would appreciate your honesty with this. 
    1. Payment is due before you play
  16. Visitors must respect our local flora and fauna, we have a respectful relationship for our wildlife residence and we
    acknowledge the role they play in making our park so unique and enjoyable. However some of these residence do bite or sting so please take care not to get too close.
    a. If you require emergency care for bites or stings please call 000, there is an emergency snake bite kit located at reception, however we are not first aid qualified.
  17. Our bush location means we are at risk of both fire and flood. In the event of such emergency please follow the
    instructions of our staff and evacuate to the designated area.
    1. The evacuation point for our area is grassed area located at the entrance to Tarragon Lodge.
    2. Please keep yourself up to date with local authorities in regards to flood watch and total fire bans
    3. We will enforce the rules of a total fire ban, this helps us to ensure the safety of all our residence and visitors.
